They really are neat i just dont really wanr Any new pet, livestock is different but we have enough pets

Ok. So you want to keep them locked in for awhile. Different amounts depending on breed. You want to whistle every time you feed them so when you let them out, you whistle and they come back. You want to have a small door for them to enter, preferably a trap door (hard to explain, so Google it ) always let them out hungry. Do you have pigeons?

Very pretty! Are all their beaks that long? I hadn’t noticed it before.


In other news, I checked Shadow’s eggs tonight. One egg was collapsed. Not broken, but the shell must have been soft/weak and was crunched in. The other egg looked infertile, so since they’ve only been there a few days, I went ahead and pulled both eggs, thinking it may take her a few days to lay another if I just took the one that was messed up.
Can/will they eat oyster shell? I’ve given her some layer feed, along with her regular feed sometimes, but not every day.

It's fine. It happens sometimes for the first egg. If it repeatedly happens you may have a problem.

Can anyone tell me if a fantail could live in a large aviary with a couple of young peacocks?
