@Qwerty3159 I would not do 4by4by4. Because it will be impossible to catch a bird then.I would do 3 ft depth though.

Good point, I remember that being the reason why I originally opted against that depth.
Do you think that extra space will help some of the conflicts going on in there, or is it just a matter of needing more birds in the loft? It was never this bad when the white hen I lost was still in there. I'm still considering making some sort of separate breeding box, at least to lock the cock in, because I gave him a box to claim which he has been trying to get the hen into but he still terrorizes the other cock throughout the loft

You know those $1 butterfly nets from the dollar store that start showing up this time of year? They work great catching small birds too.

I use them on my parakeets, chicks, pigeons, etc. and they’re small enough they can rip through the air quickly.

Brick and Brewer are good. Brewers crop wasn’t totally empty again this morning so I gave him a little more water. Not feeling well today so I’m home with them, will feed and weigh soon.
