Got the new NPA quarterly today. This brief look at diseases was in it. Thought I’d share.

Also, I sent an email to the secretary giving them the band numbers and info from the birds I bought that were already banded, asking that they note in their records that the birds now belong to me. I got a fairly prompt response saying they would update their records!

Beau is on the nest and #65 is in the nest bowl with her. I think she is trying to steal the best bowl. @cavemanrich @sourland @Hokum Coco have you ever had this happen?

As I was walking out to check the birds I watched a Cooper's snatch a robin, the thing came out of nowhere and plucked the robin out of the grass just feet away from me, leaving only a pile of grey feathers.
The good news is that there's an egg now!
