I would never raise pigeons with too short of a beak to feed their young.

I don't think there is such a thing (too short) to be able too feed. That species would certainly extinct.

In the wild, for sure, but in captivity the young can be fostered to pairs of other breeds to raise, or handfed.

Here's an African Owl that I imagine would have a very hard time feeding babies:

Maybe not though - maybe they still can raise young just fine on their own.

I don't think there is such a thing (too short) to be able too feed. That species would certainly extinct.

Except for human intervention...

Like some dog breeds that can't be birthed naturally anymore; they have to have a C-section.
