We have a tree that is being held up by posts near me. It's over a thousand years old  Have you heard of the major oak?

Never heard of this one. :thumbsup
Its good that it is supported. otherwise likely to break branches. Then it would look scrawny:(
It has been quite windy recently. No tornadoes, or hurricanes, but windy. I have a few large branches that cracked and I need to cut off and remove this weekend.

I "accidentally" did something. I just happened to put two Portuguese tumbler eggs in an incubator.

I recently moved my pair to a different coop, and apparently they were going to nest soon. But with the move they couldn't handle the stress I guess. So I pulled the two eggs, which were on the floor, and am bating them. I wouldn't incubate them, but ports are so difficult to locate.

I know thru hand feeding and all, I am going to be quite attached to them IF they hatch. So I *might* make one a house pet, with daily field trips to the outside coops so he can make *friends*. I am getting way to excited... :p

While you are incubating, can you see if they will sit on some fakes, ... Then give them the hatchlings to see if they'll feed them?

Maybe, but they don't even have a nest box claimed. I am hoping a roller pair lays soon, so I can swap them out. I have one roller pair that's getting close, and their eggs are always infertile. So hopefully they lay soon. :fl
