Pigeon Talk

I'm debating pulling it from the parents when it's older to finish handfeeding it so that it's friendly. The parents are pretty skittish and I'd like the baby to not be that way.
I personally would not do it,,, Reason; I think parents raising lil one may encourage them to have more offsprings. :idunno
Of course you are keeping an eye on lil Junior. I think handling him, may be sufficiently good to keep him on the TAME SIDE. And of course if parents do become deadbeats, and abandon feeding, you can just intervene.:highfive:

My pigeons just layed two new eggs!

Fingers crossed they hatch into two healthy babies!

@Pyxis I'm glad you were finally able to get that pair to breed successfully!

I love those things! I have a few in our yard. There sounds are so cool!
I get three other woodpecker species in the yard and they all come to my feeders but this was the first time I saw one of the pileateds more than a passing glimpse as they flew by. I knew they were big but I wasn't expecting them to be crow sized.
