Pigeon Talk

Very nice! Are they paired with each other? Is the dilute or pale gene involved in producing yellow?
Dilute. They do have a chance of throwing yellows, which I would love! Yellows are so cool, and he has so many. They are paired, infact, They were in there box this morning! If I can make some pigeon money, I'll go back to him and get me some cool colors. He has a silver dilute barless. so imagine a light colored silver, without the bars. :drool he had bred for five years for that bird. He also had pure whites, blacks, yellows, recessive reds, (which I'm eying!) Blue bars, checks, etc. And some tiger grizzles. All out of racing blood. Bassicly imagine Adam Archer Pigeons living 15 minutes from you, and all his birds are $10... :thumbsup don't worry, I'm using self control! ;)

Awesome! I'm happy you have such a good contact. IMO you deserve it based on your commitment to the hobby. :)

Thanks! I've been super blessed to have several mentors in the hobby. There aren't many people in the area that have pigeons, but the ones that do are a tight nit group.

Sorry, can't help myself. I should have been an editor!

Haha! I was trying to figure out the correct way to spell it... They nit almost looks like a feather mite!
I think this is the human head louse, immature form. So many closely related species to occupy all available ecological niches whether, feathers, head hair, etc, etc … :D
