That video is adorable, all those fluff butts
I knowww, I love them so much
I have to watch it again every time I see it, it makes me so happy. Just the crunch of the leaves and the dust flying as they all go running off happily

So update on the boys. I pulled the shade cloth down to cover the front of the coop they are in because the morning sun hits it just right. I also added meat bird crumble, some treat seed mix and a beetle/soldier fly larva/cricket mix and rooster booster crumble to the chick feed they are still on. Put that in two I think 10 or 12 inch round dishes and it was nearly all gone by 7:30pm. Appetite is back up now with out other treatment. I really think my overcrowding, lack of multiple feed locations, rain and heat was doing them in. I'll keep checking every few days to see if we are gaining muscle and weight.
Sounds like you're taking the right steps to remedy the issue! Hopefully you see some good progress when you check up on them next

Oh, he is gorgeous!
Blue silver duckwing is one of my favorite patterns!! I actually had hoped to work on OEGBs in that variety, at least until the hawk population discovered my OEGBs and made it hard to keep them alive here.

Definitely keep us posted on how he fills out and how the genetic test goes!

At least it's cooler, though! I took my pictures this morning so the birds were dry then. Now, not so much.

They're all broody-raised so they were not pleased with me handling them!
