OMG!!! I HAVE A BAZILLION (that's 100 x a Gazillion) LITTLE GREEN TREE FROGS.

One is cute, 5 or 6 are charming, but a BAZILLION IS DEAFENING!!!!

They are in my lily pond right outside my bedroom doors. When they get cranked up, I can't even hear the
TV for the cacophony! Then the bull frogs join in with their bass notes to harmonize with the tenors and
there's just no sleeping. I used to like them but a woman who is sleep deprived should be avoided at all
costs....

How many would you like, and what is your address......I'll gather you up a Gazillion or two, heh, heh!!!!!!

Muuuuuoooooohhhhhhhahaaaa!!!!!!

We have cabbage, broccoli, brussel sprouts, beets, spinach and onions planted.
The tomatoes have been transplanted into bigger pots.
It was too wet from snow to plant sugar snap peas and carrots. I will be able to plant carrots, but I think it is now too late to get the ss peas in the ground.
The strawberries are blooming and I picked the first asparagus yesterday.
We may have fruit on the trees this year as we missed the last freeze. We can only hope.

Love the pictures every one has posted. Will post some later.

High desert climate - big storm today and a couple of inches of snow. Night time temps are still frequently below freezing, although the days can be in the 60s and even low 70s. My rhubarb is already coming up, as are the hops and in the next week or so it'll be time to plant beans, peas and other cool-weather crops outside and start the warmer-weather stuff (tomatoes, etc) inside.

Next week I'll probably be planting clover and native grass in the chicken run so that when the chicks go out in 3-4 weeks they'll have lots of fun stuff to eat.

Last year this time we had a late frost / freeze that took the top off of one my plum trees. I got NO fruit from my trees last year . . . .

THIS YEAR, EVERYTHING is LOADED with BLOSSOMS ! ! ! !

I am hoping that I will get a second load of sugar snap peas and green peas this spring. It is warming up quick and I am concerned my collards, chineese cabbage and peas will suffer . . .

I am looking to transfer some more things to the garden this weekend. I don't know where I am going to put them. I ran out of tilled ground last weekend ! !

I LOST three plants ( 2 green peppers and 1 tomatoe ) to cut worms or something else like that yesterday.
Just cut my plants off at the ground level. Found them laying on the ground.

I have green arrow and dwarf grey snow peas about 1.5" tall, Kohlrabi, radishes, lettuce, spinach, and swiss chard are up. Planted a few yukon gold, kennebec, and viking potatoes last Friday (Good Friday). Cabbages are in the ground, broccoli and cauliflower will go in as soon as it dries again. Fall planted garlic is about 10" tall and the onions I started from seed are now in the garden. As soon as it dries up I'll plant mustard greens and more radishes and kohlrabi. Bring on fresh produce!

Passed this year on the garden
