Mareks may be a possibility if her feet or legs are starting to feel numb. But when chickens walk on their hocks and sit a lot, I would treat her food or water with poultry vitamins containing riboflavin (B2,) in case of a deficiency. Can you tell if her toes curl under? Hopefully, it is not Mareks, but I would make sure that your caretaker will put the vitamins in their water every day. A human B complex tablet crushed into her food or water may also help until you get poultry vitamins. Warn your caretaker that she might get worse, and need to be caged with food and water so that she can reach them if she gets lame.
