Please help! Lethargic silkie!

You can give her a couple of drops of the undiluted Corid twice a day to jump start her treatment. Make sure that she drinks the treated water or give it to her with a dropper. Corid is used in cattle as well as poultry, same medication. It is safe to treat the whole flock. Let us know how she gets along.

Thank you! I will!

Update:
She is getting to be a little bit more mobile and vocal. I gave her a few drops of undiluted Corid twice today and have been regularly dropper-feeding her the liquid. From what I know, she hasn’t eaten much, but she should be decently hydrated. Thank you all for your help!

I give a tsp of a good greek plain yogurt with cultures daily, but you can also use Probios powder from the feed store. There are some online packets of probiotics for animals, such as Grow2Max, and Purina Fortiflora which I have also used, and you can find them online at Chewy or Amazon.

Ok! And I should give that to her after the 5 day treatments?

Hey guys! I’m so sorry that it has been a while since I updated.
It is day 4 of the Corid treatment. She has been making a bit of progress. I have noticed her acting more normal but, she is still hunched up most of the time. Lately, she is being a bit more resistant to drinking from the dropper which I hope means that she is getting enough on her own. I have been praying like crazy that she recovers quickly! Oh, and the rest of the flock is doing good. I have been giving them the Corid solution also. If yal have any other tips or pieces of information, please share. Thanks!

You could try giving the undiluted Corid 0.1 ml twice a day or hide it in some egg. Thanks for the update, and I hope she perks up soon.
