Please help me, i'm having an eggsistential crisis!

I don't know what to say about the issues as I'm just on my first hatch and all I really know are the basic steps. Wanted to say congrats on the one hatching!! Post up pics when you get a chance

Don't worry too much yet! If you have one hatched, it's quite likely that you have other pips that you just can't see.

If you're quick, it won't. I usually put a pipette of water on a paper towel when I open the incubator during hatch. That brings the humidity back up very quickly and it dries out fast enough that it doesn't affect humidity for long.

Have you checked for pips? Candled to see if there's an internal pip? I wouldn't worry too much yet, but candling wouldn't hurt.

I would have to take the egg out of the incubator because I use my phone.

If you tap on the egg, do you hear anything? If not, it's probably dead.
