Your doing everything correctly. Removing the wet paper was correct too. Just wait because once it wants out it will wiggle trying to get out. Maybe then you will need to assist..Oh yeah I know what to look for in regards of absorption etc. So I'm fine with that - I was regarding the whole paper towel & keeping the egg moist comments. I was using a piece of wet kitchen roll before but now I took that off and just put coconut oil over the membrane, but everyone's saying different things so I got confused on what to do lol!
She's still got a few small red veins on her membrane but the membrane is really drying out in places, going dark brown. :/ But her beak is out in the open.
Chewing motions and yawning, still absorbing. Just got to wait and hope she survives!

Ok I have just checked on her and she seems to have gotten her wing out and is wiggling to get out but there's still blood! What do i do?!
