Well this might sound a bit crazy but we have 27+ chicken(5 are roosters), 13 guineas, 3 dogs, Josi A American Staffordshire Terrier and dutch shepherd mix, Akita who is a shiba inu, and Miss. Peaches white Chihuahua, 6 cats there names Wilow girl, Midnight boy, Mowgli boy, Rosemary girl, Sage boy, and Jade girl, 1 goat Timber AKA CRAZYYYY and we are looking for a 2nd one.
That doesn’t sound crazy! I’m jealous and wish I had all those animals hahah and I had like 8 cockerels once when I hatched a ton 😂 I have most of them away though and then lost a few. And then currently I have 2. I had 3 but had to put one down last month 😭

Maybe I should pick up the bait boxes and let it kill the rats again ? But I do still want to catch this one since it’s turned it’s attention to the chickens. And we do also have a lot of woods etc. so I’m sure it could find other prey.

Thanks! I wonder if I should try eggs? And I feel bad because we have had a rat problem and been using those poison trap things and I wonder if we accidentally killed all its prey and it turned to the chickens
Ha that's a catch 22 for sure! Just maybe pour a little beaten egg out maybe then cover really well and maybe put something like bleach( or essential oils) to cover the smell afterwards

That’s a good idea! We didn’t really hide it or cover the scent so it’s probably too smart to go in. Might not be the best location for it either. I’ll try these ideas.

I totally agree to kill this one your chickens are easy prey but so weird it didn't try to eat whole thing pbly couldn't drag down it's hole. But yes it's tasted chicken and I agree there's plenty else to eat .
