Please tell me how this happened

I have my Silkie, Widget in her cage in the house. ( long story on why) She has clean shavings. I walked by her earlier and her poof on her head was covered in poo !!!

How did she manage that?? It looked like she rubbed it down to the skin. Took forever to get her clean. Just when I think Widget has done it all, she goes one step beyond and proves me wrong.

I am telling you, silkies manage to do the DUMBEST things, often resulting in death or injury. I had one hang himself by getting wedged between the wall and waterer. I have another roo that will stand in the duck pond up to his neck ALL DAY. I finally had to move him to the OEG pen.
