I've never experienced this myself, but I have read that for it to heal, it'll need its own tiny space for a while, for about 2 to 3 months. Hope your chicken gets better soon!My polish hurt her leg and I need help to get her walking better it isn’t swollen but she won’t put weight on it
As long as she can fully extend her wings then it's a big enough small space, if that makes sense.Yeah she’s in her own little 4x2 area with a dog crate for shade food and water but I had to put my silkie with her because she gets stressed and chirps without Niblet with her because they were raised together (Karen=Polish Niblet=Silkie)
Yeah she sleeps in my room by herself in a dog crate big enough for her to extend her wingsAs long as she can fully extend her wings then it's a big enough small space, if that makes sense.
She gets stressed without Niblet and just chirps over and over again the longest time they’ve been apart was last nightI've never experienced this myself, but I have read that for it to heal, it'll need its own tinny space for a while, for about 2 to 3 months. Hope your chicken gets better soon!

They should be okay together, as long as Niblet doesn't rough house(which wouldn't make sense because she's a silkie). She gets stressed without Niblet and just chirps over and over again the longest time they’ve been apart was last night
Do you have any pics of the leg? It may help. After looking at her more she can’t lift it so idk what she did to it but when she tried to scratch her head she couldn’t reach it
