My Neela and Alice, the blues, must be carried in every night. They wait on the outside roost bar for their "lift". Emily asks to be picked up when we go inside. She is much lower in the pecking order and gets hassled constantly. I find all three are really sweet. At first, Emily was the most skittish, but after being handled through her broody spells, she became quite the pet.

Just picked up a cockerel, two pullets, and a hen, breeder quality Partridge Rocks from David ( he said that they originated from Pennsylvania)

Thanks. He is missing so many saddle feathers from my neurotic Olive Egger I sent to live with a friend that I hesitate to take too many pics till they grow back in. She'd just follow him around, ripping them out and driving him nuts till I had to let her go. Guess his "test pattern" was just too much for her little brain, LOL.

That's a switch! Mine are ruffled right now and molting. My poor little Lola (Polish) is actually all prickly-you can't touch her anywhere without hurting her. Like a porcupine.

I can't get over the fact that some hens need to be rehomed. I have one that growls! Loud!, then will attack some other poor hen. If she keeps attacking hens, she will have to go too. She's a JG. Sorry, off-topic-bye

Question for the show knowledgeable: My Bantam Barred cock placed 4 at Crossroads. The judge wrote "BF" on the tag. Anyone have a clue what that could mean?
