I aquired a pair of Tokens... turken/cochin crosses. After deliving them to me i was told that they had been romanced by a polish roo. I tested the first egg for fertility and put the next 6 in the incubator. They are due on the 8th. Cant wait to see. I just hatched my first showgirls over night...

This was the hatching of the imfamous non crowing Peepoe, He is a feather necked showgirl and has fathered a few chicks. I keep finding fertile eggs from my polish-turken. should be fun. Here is Peepoe now


and here is Spot, his Lady Love. She did not get the naked neck like her sister, We lost her sister to a coon attack.


Is the naked neck a throwback? both hen and roo have a naked neck parent. What are the chances we will get necked necks?
