I have 3 ladies, plan to add 2 or 3 more this spring. The hubby is building me a new coop, so I'm stoked! Also planning on hatching some eggs and selling the chicks to a couple neighbors.

Some of the bantam crosses and frizzles are NN. @LizzzyJo, I have about 20 Roos? I'm glade they all get along with each other. My mom thinks I should sell them all, but I love'em. I might have more Roos than that.Well i have 3 boys I'm trying to sell so about 23Roos?

I currently have about a dozen males with 50ish females, planing to almost double that when I get what I want from my shipments

Most pets with benefits. Certain flocks produce selling eggs, certain flocks produce chicks for meat, some act as incubators

Yes! This is me exactly! Even with 6 I still get overrun with eggs in the summer and give them to the local shelter. I love my egg variety - yours are beautiful!

That’s a PERFECT idea! Now I can have all the chickens I want, and donate extra eggs to my local shelter.

Right now, I have 7 chickens, 5 hens/pullets and 2 cockerels. Obviously, the two cockerels can't stay in the same coop together with the girls, so either they're going to go into a bachelor pad, or I'm going to move my bantam cockerel and my bantam pullet into a new coop and add a few more bantams to make a separate flock. I don't know what I'm going to do yet.

I live in Farmland. Here in Farmland, the neighbors sign a document acknowledging that they have to put up with Farmland noises.
