Pompom Duck has her eyes infected

Uploading this afternoon's Iris video took forever! Here she is on day five of eye treatment with eye-drops, -ointment and oral antibiotic. Iris let loose to join her flock. Watch her running to her sisters and complain about the evil humon!

And here she is after the evening treatment. She swallowed her tablet almost voluntarily, followed by a big »sippy-sippy« and 30 grams of cat-food. Then endured the eye-drop and -ointment procedure like a brave duck hero. And the just took a moment to realize that her vision has become much better. She curiously looked around on the patio before she want to go back outside:

Here is a closer look at her right eye, it looks almost normal, just a little bit blurry inside.

I promptly overslept this morning, let the ducks out at 11am instead of 10am. I need to fix the automatic duck-door release, the sun rises more than a minute earlier every day now!

My duckies get so mad at me if I'm late! They stand at the run door and scream their heads off at me. I'm sure it's duckie cuss words they are yelling at me.

Maybe you should tag Iris so you can tell her apart. I put a zip tie on the ones that I want to identify.

Today PomPom bit the towel!

In the morning i waited for her at the door of the duck-House but she never came outside. So i went inside and picked her up. Apparently her eye infection once again became so bad that she is not able to see where she is going and left behind by the other Puddle-Ducks she got lost. So today she is my house duck and she is not happy with that, so she bit the towels in her laundry basket…

And Iris is gone!

Iris decided that she had enough! - No more eye-drops or -ointment, no antibiotic tablet any more…
So when everybody ran out of the open door, she blended in. I was baffled to see an empty duck-run in front of me, where usually a single disoriented duck would be left behind. First time i saw her, she was already half way up to the pond. Duck you humon!
