Poop on butt feathers

Can you get a close-up of her vent area? Look her over for any lice and lice eggs. Sometimes those may increase the amount of poop that is caught by the feathers. Sometimes it is positional, and if they have loose droppings, those may collect repeatedly. If you decide to bathe her in a shallow warm bath, be sure to blow dry her feathers before putting her back outside. Here is what lice eggs look like:

Hello all, we used your suggestions and a warm water basin with paper towels worked. We then blow dried her feathers and she is back with the flock. No signs of lice or lice eggs. Thank God! Just poop caught on the feathers that appeared to be growing in size. I can’t thank you all enough for your advice and help!
