Maybe because it’s all new to her and that her way to relieve stress. Since Runners tend to be high strung anyway. Does she quiet down when your out with her? And at 12 weeks she is finding her voice too!

Phew, thank you again for your response, haha. I wonder if it's her trying to call her old flock or something generally related to them? Or possibly, the other ducks feel safe in the garden and wonder to the glass, and she doesn't like it so she is trying to warn them of danger? She should. Mine have moments like if the flock moves off and one can’t see them or something is scary. But none quack all the time. She should settle down as she gets use to her new home. My Buff who is a member of my Oldest Runner Flock 3 yrs will start quacking when she walks off like it’s a que she wants the rest to follow.
Yes, it's very hard to think like a duck it seems haha. Suppose they see the world as full of constant threats, being prey animals.Very hard to get into the mind of a duck but I am thinking she is feeling a little insecure new home new family everything is new it takes a while for them to adjust. Does she follow your girls around?
That sounds lovely! I can just imagine it as I read it haha. Geese are genuinely terrifying, so I don't blame them. The lady I bought my first two runners from had 2 geese in her back garden (along with A LOT of other ducks and chickens) and the noise they made was incredible! She never has to worry about being burgled hahahaThat’s great honestlyRunners are Great at accepting their own kind I have 6 duckling I am integrating into my flock 3 at 4 weeks one 5 weeks and 2 at 8 weeks so far everyone is pretty good with them I don’t leave them alone with anyone. They are terrified of the geese though. My Runner drake an a few of my Muscovy females seem to think they have to put them In their place just because. Nothing major though.
