looks like gold duckwing to me?

He looks crow-winged to me. If so that would make him birchen. Tom

He looks like he would be a gold duckwing, BUT he is supposed to have gold in the wings to, and i dont see any , so I think he is a Golden Black.

That's right Steve for recognized colors, they are available in just about every color and pattern any other breed is in too though,
pyles, barred, blue, black, birchens, duns, buffs, mottled, etc, just very rare and only a small handful have them outside the normal standard colors

Thanks, yep I am prowd of how they have turned out this year, they are all off my breeders I have , all originated from Toni-maries lines, none better to me, all these young ones I posted came from some I hatched from her this year as well, cant wait to see them after a few more months when they get feathered up nice, she has REALLY helped me a ton with my longtailed birds!

Does anyone have any issues with in-grown feathers on the lower back. We have a Roo who is going through his molt now and is having a number of feathers that are coming in, in-grown and infecting as they are not penetrating the outer layer of skin.

Any suggestions??
