male to me also, here's why
comb aside, note the reddish feathers in the shoulder and the black coming in on the breast, your hens wont have this, also note the pointed hackle feathers, pullets will be rounded. A very few rare cases you will get a cockerel feathered pullet, but with the comb size, color and pointed hackle, it all adds up to boy.

for young birds they are looking good. Nice shape to most of them, once the feathering comes in better you can tell more about what you have. I like all the blue reds, those are fairly rare here too

Thank you, This is our first time with the phoenix. My son got a pair at the national show in columbus, ohio last fall...when he saw this post he reminded me that the people he bought them from said they came from stewart longtails we had 6 out of 11 hatch from our first batch we are incubating 14 more now and she is sitting on 4 so hopefully we get some pullets looks like we're going to have some roos for sale

Interesting.. do you know who you bought them from?

Amanda Stewart of Stewart Longtails

I am not sure of their names, but they had a few the were selling. they said they had bought some eggs, and then lost interest in the breed and were only keeping a couple roos because they were so pretty. I know they weren't from ohio though
