Post Phoenix Pics Please

White roo getting his main tail feathers back in after molt..

This is the roo that had the fantail when he was smaller...

Here are my Phoenix cockerel and pullet. They're 5 months old. I hope they turn out showable- they came from a hatchery, so I don't know. Same hatchery sent me 2 Polish that were a train wreck! Anyway, my pullet have the best personality. I love her the best of all of my chickens. The male- he's been held since he was a few days old, and STILL gives me grief if I try to catch him or hold him. When I'm sitting out in the pen watching the chickens, he comes up right beside me, but squawks when I touch him. Maybe he'll come around! Love the breed!

The pullet is 4 months in her pics.

Oh- They are silver phoenix, LF -Pam

Here are some pics taken today. Showing the front of the pullet- is the whole chest supposed to be brown, instead of part of it? And, is her comb to small and pale? I have higher hope for the pullet turning out nicely. The cockerel is a hodgepodge of colors and a high tail. I've Googled some his age- and found alot with a tail like that. Not too experienced with chickens :)

Hi Aubrey... hehe
It's been weeks... I've been so patient... hahahahaha

I can't wait any longer!

I can't wait to go home to see how my babies are doing

Could someone give me some input on sexing these 3 Black Breasted Red Phoenix?
I'd sure appreciate it. They're 5 wks old. I thought I had 2 boys and a girl but got to looking at their chest feather colors and 2 have tan colored breast feathers and 1 has black coming in. I know my Silver Phoenix both looked like girls and it was months before the male showed his black chest. Not sure if BBR are the same or not. 1 has an obvious red comb already so I'm pretty sure he's a boy. Of the other 2 one has a small comb and one a pretty non-exsistant comb.
LOVE these babies! Awesome curious personalities.

That's a quick and easy one, pullet WILL NOT have black breast, those will be your cockerels
