[IMG]The chicken acres. 1 Large coop (house and run)8'x4' run, 4' square house with a separation side built on for roos, 1 large coop 10'x5' run w/ shelter, a double coop- 2 shelters on different sides with run divided, the apartments and towards the top by the apple tree the bantam coop. Ones that I haven't moved down to the chicken acres yet are 2 bantam trio coops, grow out coop and the 10'x4' run w/roost and nest box attached. The outdoor brooder will stay near the house and the feed shed? Well, I don't want to think about building another one on the chicken acres right now so..yeah, I'll still be walking and trying not to forget anything:)

Yes, you are very smart to replace that worthless chicken wire with 1/2" hardware cloth for sure. You live in an area with a lot of predators..better to be safe than sorry!! [IMG]

Hey SharkmanDan, [IMG] That is essentially what I do. Anything big one day and take a day to recup. [IMG] But it works and I do get things accomplished.

Yep, that's about all I can do anymore. 3 days a week of physical work, and taking it easy the other 4.
It's tough, getting old. But the birds make it fun, mostly. Then, there's the poop!

I love the idea of portable runs and especially a spacious one like this. Since we had dogs attack our coop it was lucky we had our coop set on a 3-foot wide paver stone pathway all around. What protects these portable coops from digging predators like a stray neighborhood mutt?
