I have two muscovy ducks. Their names are Gerdy and Gracie.

Heres the list and how they got their names.....

the 2 adults M/F Rouens

M----Buddy (I was brainlocked for weeks and called him boy-duck for a month) Perfect example of a Rouen with coloring, perfect Drake feather, neck ring and size & strength. He's my buddy.(pal sounded silly) Smart bird and almost has his human trained.

F-----Squeek because she used to squeek rather than chirp or make the common duck noises as she grew up.Still squeeks when shes relaxed and content.Beautiful crested Rouen. Wears it like a crown. Used to snore too.......


The Little ones... 2 females.

youngest @ 3 months is Bug, because she used to run around in circles like a bug. Still does. The baby of the family.

her pal, 4 mts old is Chicky...because she kinda clucks almost constantly and acts more chicken-like than like a duck. Shes the house-duck or carpet-chicken as shes called. My mid-size duck.tame and friendly from day one. Got her at age of 2 mts and was able to hold her 1st day. Undersized but perfect as a companion for an orphaned duckling.

4 altogether and if I had a place I'd have 4 more.

This is my pekin and blue crested Swedish duck, male and the kids which are 5 and 7 named him Oreo thanks to my mom saying he could be an Oreo cookie.

I have a Pekin named Imola after the racetrack in Italy. Greg (RIP) was a mallard mix who the hatchery told us was a female ancona. He was original named Phoebe because she was a freebie

Denny is a Rouen and possibly mallard mix we named after Nascar driver Denny Hamlin. We've already started picking names for when Imola and Denny have ducklings. Skillet Jackson, Rutledge and Willwood will be the first three!

Magpies: Columbus (he explores), Queen Isabella (crested), Arabella (Isabella's sister), Snow White and Rose Red (Isabella and Columbus' daughters)
Buff Ducks: Hans and Franz (both females) We got them for eating, but then no one had the heart to kill them.
Kakhi Campbells: Milk Dud (crested), and Casanova (always "honeymooning")
Black East Indies: Thumbelina, Sweet Pea, Merle, What's Her Name, D'Artanien, Aramis, the third musketeer died.
Cayuguas: Pudderduck (crested), Sleeping Beauty
