My First egg from JellyBean, who started laying at 24 weeks old. She’s a Beautiful EE who is always trying to impress me!

She’s almost 28 weeks old now, but she’s still the only layer in the whole group!

I'm not entirely sure it's the first egg because I have multiple layers, but it's so little that I think it must be a first. large store egg for comparison. (regular chicken not bantam)

First egg! The "girls" are 32 weeks old today and I just put the fake ceramic eggs out and opened up the nesting boxes yesterday. I'd gotten some "Ameracauna" colored ceramic eggs and the color and size was so close that I sort of blinked on opening up the nest box and said "Hold on, there's only supposed to be two. . . "

The pullet from whom this came, River Song, has been exhibiting "squatting" behavior for about a week now.

First marans egg this morning! So excited! Three of my 8 are laying now - my olive egger (whose eggs are looking more like EE) Colombian Wyandotte and Splash Marans - so proud of my ladies
