Yay! One of our three 6 month old EEs laid their first egg. I guess it's a pinkish brown. I hope one of her sisters gives us blue or green! She even laid it in the nesting box even though I've never seen them in it before.

We got our first green egg yesterday for a Valetine's Day present. First egg from our EE at 28 weeks old.

Got my first green eggs yesterday (well, one is more blue). One fell out of the coop and broke, while the other was left right where it was supposed to be. Funny how my barred rock and rhode island red started laying pretty much the same day and 6 weeks later my two ameraucanas start the same day. They were 32 weeks.
