OK, so who got chicks today from Murray McMurray? I did!!! A friend of mine and I went in together on an order, I got 8 and she got 17+1 rare exaotic....they also threw in 3 packing peanuts....so I came home with 10.

Here they are: 1-Buff Orp, 1- Speckled Sussex, 1-Red Star, 1-Black Star, 2-Light Brahamas and 2-Barred Rock....then of course two packing peanuts

The green stuff is called Grow Gel...it is supposed to give the chicks a good start...you offer it to them for the first 24 hours....they seem to like it

ok this is the second time ive seen chicks with red on their heads... whats that?

Mine have red on their heads because a friend and I went in together on an order of 25 chicks, so McMurray put red food coloring on the heads of mine so we could tell them apart. They also put red on the chest of the roos and packing peanuts
