That rooster is my accidental vacation souvenir. DH and I found a little old cafe to have breakfast (101 omelettes on the menu!) and they had a gift shop attached. While waiting on my order (omelette #46), I looked at the rooster but wasn't going to get him as a couple other things caught my eye but before I could buy anything, DH dragged me back to eat breakfast so the owner put my things back on a shelf. After breakfast, I went to pick up the couple of things I just had to have, the owner rang stuff up and it wasn't until I got home I found the rooster in my bag. I thought the rooster had gone back on the shelf...guess he was meant to come home with me!

He's come in very handy for food photos

It was a happy accident! (And just so no one gets the wrong idea, I did pay for it but wasn't paying attention when things were being rung up so didn't notice a few extra bucks on the total.)
