Preparing to set call and pekin duck eggs! Hatch day should be March 4, 2021 if all goes well!

One Indian Runner/Khaki Campbell egg died and I'm not sure about the other Indian Runner/Khaki Campbell egg. But the pure Khaki Campbell eggs are doing great so far.

Yep! So exciting! Only 10 days to go! I’m sure it feels like an eternity!

I heard a commotion this morning and realized that the babies broke out of their pen and were terrorizing my dog... They were following him everywhere and nibbling at him. His a 30 lb Sheltie and he was traumatized.

They also apparently know how to climb the stairs now. They just love to insight havoc!

Uh oh! I think it’s already too late! I think I’m a goner! I have become the dux personal servant! Doting on their every need.

I guess I should also inform you that in the meantime while I’ve been distracted by these cuties, the other calls are working on building an army! They are preparing for world domination!

My call Cami is sitting on 9 eggs that are due to hatch sometime this week, and my call Squeegee is sitting on 15 eggs that just started developing! I also have 4 in my incubator!

Eggs are on day 15 here.
I had a few clears and a few quitters, I believe I am down to 12 eggs now.

Well, sorta. Day 14 and I think I have around 15 still going. I checked the 2 trays of chicken eggs in my cabinet last night, but didn’t candle the duck eggs in the NR. I’ll do that this evening.
