I need a new camera. Mine sucks when it comes to taking photos with out my flash. Flash is great in some instances. But for the most part not using a flash is a huge deal. And when I'm unable to take a clear close up photo with out the flash then well it really screws me over. I wish good cameras werent so darn expensive.

Thanks for the great tutorial. I used a super cheap camera, and the background is visible unlike in the other pictures posted here, but here's the final result, my little Dorking Penelope:
