Is it poop? Or a weird egg?

There's poop on it, but I broke it open and it has egg white. Good call; it's a shell-less egg.

I think your fresh girl may have had some sort of a blockage in her gastrointestinal tract that she was able to clear. This has happened a couple years in a row to my crested cream legbar. It usually takes quite a bit of intervention on my part over the course of a couple of weeks to get her to clear it, and then things go back to normal. If something like this happens again, I highly recommend you check the crop for emptying in the morning. If it’s not empty, overnight, it is a huge clue, and helps determine how to help the bird.
