Because I did know it as well as the breeder. Whom you are talking to. To me she’s a mixed mutt, easier to say unknown. Father is a purebred silkie. I’ve met both parents.then why did the OP say the breed was unknown.![]()
100% is in fact a silkie x. It’s not a guess because the father is purebred paint silkie. I appreciate the sentiment but because I’ve met the father (as well as the mother, which is an unknown mix) I know for a fact it’s definitely silkie x. Thanks though, appreciate the input. ☺ These are the parents, maybe you can help identify the mother’s breed?Not a Silkie. Looks like a satin pullet.

I wonder if someone else will have a clue...You’re welcome. I guessed satin because a lot of Silkie breeders have satins as well (including me). Obviously I’m wrong.I’m not sure what the mothers breed is. I only raise silkies and satins and am unfamiliar with most other large breeds. Your pullet is beautiful.
