Pullet or Cockerel? Silkie x

Not a Silkie. Looks like a satin pullet.
100% is in fact a silkie x. It’s not a guess because the father is purebred paint silkie. I appreciate the sentiment but because I’ve met the father (as well as the mother, which is an unknown mix) I know for a fact it’s definitely silkie x. Thanks though, appreciate the input. ☺ These are the parents, maybe you can help identify the mother’s breed?

You’re welcome. I guessed satin because a lot of Silkie breeders have satins as well (including me). Obviously I’m wrong. 🙂I’m not sure what the mothers breed is. I only raise silkies and satins and am unfamiliar with most other large breeds. Your pullet is beautiful.

I wonder if someone else will have a clue... 😅 she’s a bit of a mystery. It’s a wonder her pullet looks the way she does. I have another chick from the same sire out of an Aracauna dam, I wonder what the difference in them will be, this one is only three weeks old on the 30th so guess we’ll have to wait!

I utterly adore silkies and satins, I would love a purebred or two but they prove difficult to get a hold of here! 😩
