Excuse the mess in and around the cages. I have not raked the inside out in a few days and the clutter all around is me working....slowly on them lol
They where originally built doe the Gunieas and the 10 Chukar we had but now we just put the quail in them. We will be building them longer and just tall enough to stand in them, with little hut boxes on the back to go into.

I love the whites with their random blotches of colour. I definitely want more of an aviary type pen like yours with a solid bottom. Have to wait until we move though.

They love being on the soil. When put them in there for the fist time they go crazy dusting and flapping.​

I have 8 cot eggs in the incubator going into lockdown on the 23rd. Ignore the thermometer, it's wrong.

Probably a few dozen if I were to fill it entirely. I have 5 chicken eggs and 8 quail eggs in there right now and they fit quite comfortably.
There are a few hot/cold spots though so I don't think I'd go over two dozen chicken eggs. Also depends on time of year/how many water pans have to fit in there.
