"Says the person who just scratched me. 'Don't do that it'll make it worse," Coldshard hissed.
"I scratched you to smack some sense into your fuzz-filled brain!" Morningpaw snarled. "Just because we have Kittypet blood doesn't mean we can't fight! It doesn't mean we can't protect and hunt for our clan! We are the same as you and Crowpaw and Heronpaw, Swiftstar everyone! We are cats. We all share the same things, a heart, a mind, a soul, a territory, the Earth." Her eyes glittered with tears. "Just because we come from somewhere different doesn't mean we aren't worthy."

"Just cause I'm a Forestclan cat bred to fight doesn't mean cats can attack me!" Coldshard raged.

Morningpaw stalked up to him, and promtly raised a unsheathed paw, and slammed it hard against his cheek. She bared her teeth, snarling. "So am I."
"Ow!" Coldshard scowled. "If I'm a little irritable, it's because cats are attacking me all the time!" He licked his paw, rubbing hard to wash his face, but only succeeding to open freshly closed wounds.
Morningpaw swatted his paw away from his face with a sheathed paw. "Don't do that, it's just going to make it worse. I'll find some dock or marigold leaves to put on it later."

"Trying to smack sense into cats isn't going to get you any respect." Heronpaw muttered.

"Just cause I'm a Forestclan cat bred to fight doesn't mean cats can attack me!" Coldshard raged.
Morningpaw lashed her tail, a growl rumbling in her throat. "I did not attack you. I merely gave you a smack, just hard enough to draw a little blood. If that hurt you so bad, then you have the pain tolerance of a kit. I just got half my face ravaged by a fox, but do you see me complaining? Do you see me snapping at every cat? No." She turned away from him, tail whipping back and forth. She turned her head, just enough to give him a cold green glare. "If you want to continue this journey, then learn some respect and toughen up. It's harsh out here, and you can't act like a kit if you want to survive."

"I'm not acting like a kit. I was attacked by a kit. Just show a little respect and we might see eye to eye," Coldshard's tail lashed. "Do you see me going around attacking cats? No! I'm the only one with respect around here, and none of you see it!"

"I think everyone should give Coldshard a break." Heronpaw said, exasperatedly, "He's been attacked at least four times, for no reason, and has the right to complain."

Lavenderkit held her out her paw and brushed the flower. The moon and stars almost reflected in it. She sniffed it, and let the scent overwhelm her. With a stiffening jolt she remembered. Everything, the scent of her mother long lost. How she had been left here to wander. Watching her mother eat the flower and slip to the ground. With trembling legs she had tried to rouse her. Without fail, she knew this place. "I know this place. My mother died here." She started trembling and flopped to the ground. Shock pulsed through her tiny body, until her breath stopped. A silver cat, the silver cat, find the spirit of the silver cat. The single thought echoed in her mind and she took a breath but still she lay on the ground.

Sparrowpaw raised her tail. "I haven't attacked him yet," she piped up, for no reason. "Also, I think your dreamer-kit might have had a stroke." She meowed, pointing at Lavenderkit with a paw.
