Coldshard silently sniffed the flowers, not saying anything. He finally spoke up, remembering the scent.
"If it smells like catmint, do you think it could be related? Because the sickness in the clans, at least ForestClan, was like Greencough but worse."

"Maybe we should just leave it.." She suddenly recognized it. One if the flowers from the field in her first dream. "I-I recognize it... Remember my dream of the flowers, it was in there and its poison..."
"Only you and Morningpaw have seen it, or something like it, so if you're dream and her instincts say to leave it alone, maybe we should." Heronpaw replied.

"It's possible. I've never seen any catmint, or the like, with flowers. But, I've also never seen this flower." she said.

Lavenderkit nodded and turned towards Thunderwave, "Any ideas?"

Heronpaw glanced at the others, "Thunderwave, Sparrowpaw, Crowpaw, Morningpaw! Come look at this."
Morningpaw came forward slowly, tilting her head. "That's....odd." She came close to it, sniffing it gingerly. "I recognize this. The smell, similar to catmint yet very tangy at the same time. And it looks familiar to. I found it growing by the lake." She paused. "Which I strange because...it was in a very, very marshy and wet area. But it's very dry, very open up here." She narrowed her eyes. "Icepaw said it was nothing, probably just some sort marsh plant but...." She drew off, leaning back on her haunches.
Sparrowpaw trotted up, her tail curled over her back. She looked around at the circle of cats. "Why are you all sniffing at a flower? We have more important things to do. Unless you think that will save the clans." She snorted.

Heronpaw cast a coruscating glance at her, "Flowers are not inherently silver and Lavenderkit had a dream about it. Surely it's a sign."

"Kits have dreams all the time," Sparrowpaw scoffed. "You medicine cats think everything's a sign." She muttered under her breath, flicking her tail. She stared intently at the flower, as if trying to see what the others said was so special about it.

Lavender kit mewed hotly, "Morningpaw had the same dream and as far as I'm concerned it could mean danger."

Sparrowpaw looked at the kitten, but was still unconvinced. "Morningpaw? Did you really dream about that flower?" She asked, turning to the apprentice expectantly.
