Heronpaw smiled, still not quite believing what she'd done, "Maybe you can." she mewed, sitting down next to her catch. "Thunderwave, you too." she called to her Clanmate.Crowpaw lifted his head up, glanced at the rabbit. He nodded, shrugging. "At least you can say you caught one, right? Maybe sometime I can teach you how to properly catch a rabbit." He meowed, flicking his tail to Coldshard, Morningpaw and Sparrowpaw. "Come eat, there is enough for us all if we share."
"Oh, okay, that's fine." Heronpaw shrugged.Coldshard was suprised by the medicine cat apprentice's skill. She had no hunting experience whatsoever. He may have been able to catch one in that setting, but he knew that he would never be able to catch one in the open, where Crowpaw did.
He was surprised by Crowpaw's sudden generosity toward him and wondered why none had been offered to Thunderwave. Crowpaw probably thinks I look wiry, but I am way better fed than him.
"Thank you, Heronpaw," he said. He stood back and waited for the younger cats to eat first, wondering if he should even accept it. Heronpaw hadn't even offered it to him. "Actually, that's ok," he said. "I can do some hunting for myself, if that's ok?"
He took a hesitant step for the forest, ears already turning towards the sound of a mouse rustling in the undergrowth.
