Raccoon in duck coop

Sorry for this very off-topic thing but I find it interesting that it seems like most people have a gun. Gun laws are different here, and the only people who should have them are hunters and police I think.
I believe that this is an excellent case for farmers having them too.

I am not aloud guns here is AU. Wish I did or that fox would be.......dead. I HATE foxes and seeing as they are my main predators I could kill them all
Agreed they’ve taken some of my good show ducks, and a lot of chooks. My half brother has came up to our place before and shot a few foxes, one morning I came out to seeing a dead fox just lying in the paddock next to a bullet shell.

The foxes aren’t the only problems here as we have too many introduced species like deer, water buffalo, cane toads, Indian mynas, feral pigeons, pigs,... etc. And a real bad feral cat problem. It’s a real shame.

What part of AU are you from??

You might be suprised as to who owns guns in your neighborhood. However, you can't go shooting off guns in neighborhoods. ;)
Modern pellet rifles are pretty quiet, and powerful enough to kill a coon; people hunt small game with them.

My point was that PA was no different than the rest of the United States and that you might be suprised as to who owns a firearm. The responsible ones do not go around shooting at targets that might miss and hit a house in a suburban neighborhoid. Pellet guns (bb guns) can be misused as well.

Pellet guns are not bb guns; not even close. But they most certainly can be misused.
