My picture is my Leghorn Opal. She is a sweet bird. I just treated her for bumblefoot, which was not on her pad, but on her toe. Took me a month to get rid of it! Anyways, as I treated her toe, I would cradle her like a baby in my arms, and she would fall asleep as I wrapped her little foot. She also lays an large to xtra large egg almost every day!

Poor girl, I am glad it went away!

well the chicken run has been cleaned - AND I just ordered 4 new leghorn chicks!!!!

Well these girls in the tote, are 2 years old now, I am going to get all of my baby chick stuff out and get it ready for the babies

well, I take that back, the post above. for a week I have been only getting 2 maybe 3 eggs. When I went out to open the coop door at 5am, I saw a splat! egg on the coop floor that had ?kind of a shell / soft shell- either way, I think they are not doing as well as I thought. I bought a bag of Purina and added some to their feed and I am going to ween them off Nutrina.
