this is my 3rd order from Murry's- I mostly think the USPS, I dont think this time they kept them warm. And sometimes this happens.Let us know what is wrong with the red Leghorns.
My little red leghorns pullet is doing better. I put her with the batch that was a week younger and that seemed to help her. She was runty in her group (all three had been) and I wonder if they were just too much for her to cope.
Did you ask the hatchery what it is with their red Leghorns? Seems suspicious to me.4 did perk up yesterday, but is not eating or drinking on her own today. She is not opening her eyes, she is lethargic, I did give her a bit of honey water, but that didnt help. I have her alone sleeping with the heating pad in the little box. I dont think she will make it.
