From what I've picked up, chickens all have coccidiosis in their systems and gain resistance to the local strains. But when their body gets overloaded with it and bloody stuff starts coming out it's time to give them some help. Glad you had the Corid on hand and ready.

I'm pretty sure all the chicks I got this year were vaccinated for it, and I've tried to get them gently exposed while they're young. I gave them dirt from the yard, and put them on woodchips from the garden early on to try and strengthen their immune systems.

the new flock I ordered in 2022, when we move onto this property, One of the chicks from Murray at 10 weeks couldnt walk, Marek's shows up at 10 weeks, this one had all the symptoms.
