Rant about stupid egg-eating people!

I have friends that were so turned off by "fertile" eggs! They thought them to be unclean somehow. They would not een try a duck egg!

My wife sells our extra eggs at the hospital she works at. We have a rooster with our hens, but they are under the impression you need a rooster with the hens to get eggs.

On another note, my understanding of a vegan is someone who will not eat any animal or its by-products, such as egss, milk, cheese, and such.

Conversation I had with my friend's mom at the gas station last week:


her: So, I hear you have some ducks.
me: Yeah, would you like some eggs?
her: Oh, no! I would never eat duck eggs.
me: I have chickens too, if you would like some of those eggs.
her: Oh, no! I could never imagine eating eggs that came from a chicken.
me: So, you dont eat eggs at all?
her: Only the ones from the store, them are good!
me: Yes, they're great.
