Rats as food

I throw rats and mice in the garbage, the disease risk is not worth anyhting else. Sometimes one of the girls will kill a mouse and proudly run with it across the yard halfway down her throat... I've had to chase them around until I catch them and get it out of their beaks several times.

My one little girl got herself a baby mouse early this fall. I think she enjoyed it, she definitely ate it and is doing well all these months later!

I’ve had them find dead, dehydrated mice in the yard after the winter and devour them like candy. Same with frogs. They’ve been fine before, but just curious if anyone had done it.
