What a nightmare!

Well, hopefully. I wont believe it till I have them in my hands, though. I'm laughing my rear off here at the idiocy of the thing, LOL. All you can do is shake your head sometimes. The second time I sent Christina eggs, I put tracking on them. I sent them from Tennessee since that worked so well the first time. They went to...Atlanta? That had me stumped till we found out that they were mailed PARCEL POST rather than the Priority I paid for, and paid well for, too. Took a solid week and killed the hatch for her.

Poor Cindy, we're always trying to make her answer for the P.O.! We know it isn't your fault. Bet you're one of the good ones. (((hugs)))

Any word on your eggs yet? I just tracked mine as well. They are in Rochester for some reason. So the USPS must fly or drive them past my location to take them further north. Then ship them back my way. Weird.

The USPS site still says they're in Douglasville. No call from the P.O. yet, either, and my carrier would call me. When Jody sent my Orp eggs a couple of months ago, they went from Pennsylvania to NEW JERSEY then down to Atlanta. No idea why that happened, either. It pretty much ruined that hatch, too, I think.

I just don't understand it sometimes. My buff orp eggs I got a couple of days ago went to Buffalo. From Texas. Then to me. Buffalo is alot closer to me. Now these blue orps from WV went to Rochester. I am still ok hopefully they are at the PO now. Its the second day and its nice and cool out.

How many days have yours been "in the mail"?

That has to be madding!!!.. I've never understood the post office where I live .... everything I ship out has to go to Pittsburgh first then off to its destination ...

Fingers crossed Cyn you get them today and have a great hatch......

Well, guess what? They are NOT here in my town, like Christina was told. They are in a town an hour away and the postmaster is on his way to pick them up. They SAID that the zip for Douglasville was written on the box then crossed out. THEN, the eggs went to Douglasville. Then they realized they were supposed to be up here. SO, why are they now in Dahlonega? Did they put that zip on there and cross it out to cover their butts? The postmaster is driving there to get my eggs and bring them to my P.O. They told Christina that the eggs were in my town yesterday and even gave her a time! NOT. Now, I bet after bumping all over the state of Georgia, they may not even hatch, darn it!

If I don't get Suede enough ladies out of this batch, I quit.

Cynthia! I'm so sorry. The post office ruined my eggs from Bamachicken as well, and I got a zero hatch. It's very annoying. I hope something will hatch for you.
