thanks guys............stopping at the store on the way home tomorrow.......maybe I'll put a drop of essential oil in there too, what do guys like? Lavender, patchouli, bergamot?

My ex worked out in the weather a lot, all year long. He also spent time in the sandboxes overseas, and always scoffed at using lotion until one winter his skin cracked so badly it was bleeding a little, and then got infected. Then he started using it!

I'm 52 and my skin is getting terrible. I draw blood all the time just rubbing against stuff. Did a tune up on the truck and my hands looked like I wrestled with some barbwire. It's just too hard to remember to do it. Then if you do it in the bathroom you can't turn the knob on the door to get out.

Before I retired, I regularly used hand-lotion...otherwise my hands gave my HE el el .
Still use it occasionally.

Bath oil/ Body lotion...Nah. just my therapeutic well-water.

Seems to work ok.

P.S. BUT if a "massage" comes along with it...count me in !!!!

Yeah I know what you mean, just rub the excess off on your arms or neck until your hands feel they can tolerate a doorknob....that's what I do.

My husbands hands were so dry, they would crack open. He wouldn't use lotion either. So I bought him some stuff called O'Keefe's Working Hands.. You can only get it online or at a hardware store like Lowe's... I found it at Lowe's in the paint department. I guess because folks that paint for living get thinner on their hands which is a super skin drying chemical agent!! It seems a little pricey at $8.00.. But it lasts a long time because it is almost like a tub of wax. He uses it daily and in less than a week, his cracked hands were almost healed. Now his hands don't crack anymore and are baby smooth. It says it can be used for hands and feet. But I have used it on my arms and legs since I get dry skin in the winter really bad. So I don't see why it wouldn't work on your DH's head. It doesn't have a smell to it and feels nice going on. I will be buying it from now on. We have been very impressed with it. You can go to their website to read about it and punch in your zip code to find a retailer near you. http://www.okskinco.com/
