Remembering Hawkeye...One Year Later (LONG)

I can't believe its been a year already since that happened. I never knew the story of how you got him, you really rescued him from a bad situation. Do you have some of his baby girls in your flock? Very bittersweet story, Cyn.

I had two of his daughters, Zoe and Margaret, but they now live with lockedhearts, along with the younger rooster, Mace, also his son. When I have a broody, I will most likely hatch some of Dutch's chicks, which naturally, will be Hawkeye's grandkids. I do have Panda, Zane's daughter.

What a wonderful story.
My husband and I lost a beautiful Dom. Rooster last year to dogs and I cried for weeks.
It is hard to lose any of them but especially the ones you fight for.
