Im certain Gogo has an infection. I noticed yellow poop and less interest in food and flock activities about a week ago. I have been reading everything i can find here. After talking with @azygous on another thread I decided to start her on amoxicillin.
I soaked her yesterday and dried her. She's eating some but less than normal. I have 8 hens she was born this March.
They eat kalmbach all flock crumbles and have osyer shell available.
I have also given her a few tums over the past week thinking she may be egg bound.
Should I continue the tums with the antibiotics?
She was laying regularly until the days started getting shorter, so now i wonder if she was egg bound and i didn't know. i ended up adding a light and everyone else just resumed laying. The photo that shows her rear you can see some of the yellow poop and the other is what she has been doing alot lately.
I have been offering her wet food which she has been favoring over the regular feeder. (Regular feed just wet)
I plan to give her 250 amoxicillin 2xday should I continue with tums? Anything else I should do?
